In 1988, Australia celebrated its bicentenary and, to mark the occasion, the world-famous ‘Flying Scotsman’ was invited to travel from Britain to take part in a series of railtours that were part of the ‘Aus Steam 88’ Festival, arriving in October that year.
Already resident in Western Australia since 1977, in the care of the Pilbara Railway Historical Society, former GWR ‘Castle’ Class 4-6-0 ‘Pendennis Castle’ was moved by road to Perth in early 1989 to operate alongside its one-time rival ‘A3’ Class ‘Pacific’. This unlikely reunion occurred almost 9,000 miles from where a week-long locomotive exchange once took place between the LNER and GWR, in April 1925.
This LNER and GWR Train Pack celebrates that landmark event in Australia 37 years ago in 1989. Featuring OO gauge locomotive model replicas of 'Flying Scotsman' and 'Pendennis Castle', these highly detailed designs include sprung metal buffers and NEM tension lock couplings for smooth rake creation. Add a 21-pin decoder to upgrade to HM7000 control.

1.1 WHAT THESE TERMS COVER.
These are the terms and conditions on which we supply pre ordered products to you.
2.1. AVAILABILITY & DELIVERY DATES
Pre-orders are made available on selected products. When pre-ordering an item we will display the expected date of delivery (the date we expect to ship the item) on the Product Page. This date is not a guaranteed shipping date and is subject to change without notice. We will endeavour to inform you of any delays to this date by email.
2.2. WHEN WE WILL PROVIDE THE PRODUCTS.
Once product is received by ACE R/C MODELS & HOBBIES we will process the stock (normally within 24 hours) and dispatch to you based upon the shipping option you selected at checkout.
3.1 WHEN YOU MUST PAY AND HOW YOU MUST PAY.
Full payment or a deposit is required for all pre-orders on the day of ordering as specified on our website.
4.1 ORDER CANCELLATION
ACE R/C MODELS & HOBBIES may cancel a Pre-order at any time for any or no reason prior to our notice to you that the Product has been dispatched. If cancellation occurs before the item is dispatched, you will be entitled to a full refund of your Pre-order payment.
If the buyer cancels the pre-order, you will forfeit your deposit or if paid in full you will forfeit up to 15% of the full purchase price.
