MICRO TRAINS GREAT NORTHERN 60’ BLUKHEAD FLAT CAR WITH LOADThis center cupola caboose is painted freight car red and runs on Bettendorf trucks. Built in 1962 as part of series 1100-1149 by International Car Co., NP began renumbering cabooses in anticipation of BN merger. The renumbering put NP cabooses in the 10000 series, keeping the last three digits of the original number.These 60' bulkhead flat cars are painted blue with white lettering and run on Barber Roller Bearing trucks. Built in 1968 by Marine Industries as part of series 160325-160374 they carry a load of pipe. The GN's route was the northernmost transcontinental railroad route in the United States.
